LINE Cowl
LINE Cowl is a fundamental project in two-tone patent (brioche), where structure and color play are in focus.
The cowl is knitted in the round with cast-on and binding off using I-cord. The project allows you to work systematically with the structure of the rib: the interplay between stitches and yarn overs, the interplay of colors and the vertical, elastic structure. The distinctive, contrasting colored ribs create a calm, graphic expression and at the same time give a clear sense of depth and movement in the stitch pattern.
The project is particularly suitable if you want to:
- build security in two-tone patent
- learn to recognize and “read” patent masks
- work with rib and structure as a shaping element
- experience how color choices affect the overall look
The dense, elastic patent gives the cowl dense and comfortable feeling, so it gently hugs the neck and molds to the body. The repetitions in the pattern create a calm working rhythm, where you have the opportunity to immerse yourself in the technique.
LINE cowl is therefore not just a warm accessory – but an introduction to working consciously with brioche as a structure-bearing technique.
